Sports Available 2026 - Term 2 sports start again from Monday 20th April (NB Basketball and tenpin bowling re-start on 2nd May.)

Our sports take a break during school holidays.

**BASKETBALL**

**When:** Saturdays

**Time:** 9am - 10am

**Where:** Lynmore Primary School gym, Iles Rd.

**Cost:** None

**Footwear:** suitable for indoor gym

**SOCCER / FOOTBALL**

**When:** Tuesdays

**Time:** 6pm – 7pm

**Where:** Lynmore Primary School gym, Iles Rd. (Outside during daylight saving if fine).

**Cost:** None

**Footwear:** suitable for indoor gym if inside; football boots if outside

**SWIMMING**
Only for competent swimmers
(No learner session available)

**When:** Mondays only

Time: 6pm - 7pm
**Where:** Indoor deep pool, Aquatic Centre, Tarewa Rd

**Cost:** None, but a form provided by the Aquatic Centre has to be filled in

When: Wednesdays

Time: 4pm – 5pm

Where: School Hall or Te Maru if the Hall is unavailable . In warmer months, on the tennis court, depending on the weather.

Cost: None

Footwear: Flat-soled shoes

When: Saturdays - Two sessions

First session - 2 Games (by invitation)

Time: 9.30am - 10.30am

Cost: $100 per term ($10 for 2 games)

Second Session - 1 Game (includes new players)

Time: 10.15am - 11.00 am

Cost: $50 per term ($5 per game)

Where: Strike Zone, Motion Entertainment, Te Ngae Rd.

Footwear: Bowling shoes

Hire of bowling shoes and bowling balls included in the price, payable to the tenpin coach or Special Olympics Rotorua account, not Strike Zone (SOR pays Strike Zone).

Please bring your own socks.
