Sports re-start for Term 3 from 12th September

We only have 3 weeks left of Term 3 so the following will apply until the end of the term. 🙂Some sport sessions will resume this week from Monday 13th September with restrictions. 🙁Our apologies that some athletes won’t be able to attend sports until next term.

🏊🏼‍♀️🏊🏽🏊🏻‍♂️Monday night swimming - only for the 8 swimmers who are entered into the Te Awamutu swimming tournament on the 10th October. Other swimmers can return in Term 4, on Monday 18th October.
🚫N.B. Thursday night swimming will not resume until Term 4, Thursday 21st Oct.

🎱 Bocce and Indoor Bowls will start this Wednesday 15th Sept. If we are still in Level 2, to reduce numbers we would prefer only those intending to play bocce at the NSG to attend, to avoid over crowding. During Level 2 if the hall is unavailable we will cancel the session. When we return to Level 1 everyone is welcome.

🎳 Only the 9.30am Tenpin bowling session will resume this Saturday and will continue for 3 Saturdays, including the first weekend of the school holidays. 🚫The 10.15am tenpin session will not start again until Term 4, but I need to check which day as Labour weekend is the weekend following the school holidays.

All athletes who usually attend basketball and/or soccer can come as usual as we have enough room in the gym.
🏀Basketball will resume on Saturday 18th September. ⚽️Soccer will not start again until Tuesday 21st September because the Lynmore school gym is being turned into an ice rink this week.

While we are in Level 2 we will have to comply with extra restrictions. Note that face coverings are not worn during exercise and those who are exempt from wearing one are welcome.
